Experience in family in Thailand?

So you are interested in an experience with your family, a rural community of hill tribes in northern Thailand? Sounds great! Remember, do not expect luxury or the type of accommodation. Accommodation for some 'basic, without support for the preparation too. Presumably you have a shower is very rudimentary and consists of a bucket of cold water, there will be empty of yourself, and toilet, the traditional Thai Plumsklo, which is low to the ground and not flush withyourself, you have to wash one or two buckets of water to induce on the toilet. Do not worry if you have selected the right host family, you get a very rustic, but clean rooms with a double function. Do you have any anticipation of eating style gourmet restaurant, but must be prepared dishes very tasty and healthy. The women of the village, which is likely to prepare your meals well versed and highly experienced chefs in their own culinary traditions. If you are vegetarian, they should be ablemake room for you.
Just a tip - if you live with a mountain community in the Community - that is, Akha, Hmong, Lisu, Lahu, Karen O Mien, it would not hurt if some research in advance of their culture and history.
Although I have no personal experience with them in Thailand, in itself, I had the opportunity to perform a site inspection by a relatively new host family in the mountains, about an hour's drive from Chiang Mai, the tourist center of the North Thailand to do. The villagers grow tea and Coffee in the immediate vicinity of the community and many people were involved in farming and agriculture. During the review of the product in their gift shop community, I bought a series of special pillows stuffed with aromatic Green Tea. For some strange reason, I thought that the United States --Customs may have to tear marijuana, but not even an eyelid.
