Thailand - Why do I live there

After my first night in Pattaya, Thailand, where I met a woman, a blind date arranged by one of my best friends, I'm sitting on my bed and I remembered the details of the night before. We started at The Pig and Whistle, where I was in Soi 7 The pig is a wonderful oasis, the air calm, peaceful, conditioned and quiet in a way, one of the liveliest is the strongest and the busiest streets of Pattaya.
We came out in SOI and not in a flow of people unlikethat a position of the queue for a football game, except that all the women were dressed in bikinis. We had one of these open-air bar, where my friend had a surprise for me to rely on. His girlfriend at a time, and knew nothing of a friend who wanted to meet me. The four of us had delayed one hours before the thirty yards of the road to the beach. Transport is a triple on Beach Road, so we took a taxi baht to the north with the tide, but I have two or threeMiles away, just before the Walking Street, the most famous street in Pattaya.
We went into a complex of bars and had a chance later. Only then I realized that the bars were all around a ring of Muay Thai boxing, where the fighting was continuous, free, even if it provides that foreigners who will donate a prize to the winner of a match, 20-100 baht is enough.
We stayed for an hour and went to Walking Street to eat. We ate at a fishRestaurant specialized, which has a dock or pier, as a dining area. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was romantic with the moon reflected on the sea and atmospheric lighting.
I do not think I had a chance in the real world, I fell for my lovely day, at night, and I saw them every day for the rest of my 30 day vacation. We had a great time and if I had to go, I decided to see if I could live in Thailand. I went home and calculated that if I care, and aSome things went in my favor, I would have done the best there for ten years.
Six weeks later, I returned to Thailand, and Joy met me at the airport. Nothing had changed between us, and we go on a bus with his family in northern Thailand. We slept in a room who left his brother to us all and made me very welcome. Joy's family lives in a traditional teak house on stilts, and all lived and slept in a room builttraditional way, with the exception of the brother of Joy, who had built an extension, because he hoped to marry soon.
I love this city and still live there now, five years later. Joy and I am married and have at our house - a traditional, European-cement bungalow category not five yards from her mother Joy, who is a wonderful mother-in-law. His family seems to be that was a big step to come see me here alone, and are determined to be there for me when I need help to understand, like my family in Britain would be. The mission at hand is to learn Thai as no one else in the village, next to my wife who speaks English.
