Chaweng

Chaweng Beach is the most famous beach on Samui. The strong point of Chaweng Beach is its white powdered sand. The north side of this a small island called "Mudlung Island"to which travelers can walk when water recedes. Additionally, because of Mudlung Island, there are a lot of rocks around the north part of the beach. Therefore, the south part is cleaner and better to swim at than north part.

You can see the sun rises from the sea while you exercise with other tourists. After the sun sets, you will love to be part of an enjoyble colorful night. The street along the beach becomes a night bazaar of Samui.

Tourists should exercise caution in February and March, as there is a whirlpool around Chaweng Beach. You should be careful if you want to swim in these months. Thailand Traveler's Magazine.
